edit stuff that you have recorded from video to the DVD recorder on the PC? and can it be done? because when i am recording something with my DVD recorder and it's near the end on the DVD +RW it stops the recording and when i go into menu on the DVD recorder i cannot delete the incomplete clip, is there any software that i can use on the PC to delete parts on a DVD +RW? without me having to erase the whole DVD again and starting from the very beginning again grrrr.
i don't need to backup the DVD again i need to edit whats on the DVD without extracting anything to HDD i want to edit whats on the DVD +RW without making any ISO's. basically i want a have options like a DVD recorder on my PC so that i can delete clips on the DVD+RW.
I think intervideo windvd creator has an option to edit a dvd disc, but im not sure it if rips it edits it then puts it back or how it does it, so you might want to give it a try.
yay!, it does excatly what i want but i need the disc space to edit the disc, thanks for your help . edit: grrrr it deleted everything on the whole disc!! i have to record everything again!!, do you know why it does this and how to avoid it?
i inserted the DVD all the movies came up in the menu i deleted the part that i wanted to delete then when i click finish it said there is not enough space so when i closed the program it asked me if i wanted to update the DVD so i said yes and when i checked the disc again nothing was on there, there was no menu on it either!
