thought i should start a new thread........ ok i have a HP740b cd/dvd burner Combo Drive with the latest filmware update i think.....HJ24.exe. the problems are as follows........ 1.has worked fine for a couple of years 2.it will read a CD 3.it will burn a CD 4.it will rip a CD to HD 5.it will play a CD with all the programs i have, as listed in my sig 1.it will read a DVD to HD with CloneDvD only............... 2.it will not read to HD with DvDDecypter/DvDShrink........ 3.it will not read to HD with NERO as well..... 4.it will not burn to blank DVD with any programs i have i have read post until my head is purple and red............ i don't mind at all buying a new one just want to get option's on the subject....................... . i don't know how a burner can do some/and not other if this thread needs moved move it.......... thanks ahead of time.... good day to all........
