i have lightscribe but am trying to burn to single layer. no problem copying to hd but will not allow me to burn. have dvdfab5.02..nero7..using d5 not d9..tried different media..tried different burn speeds.. the error just says it cannot burn..no error#..nothing more except for wasted dvd (i have enough 'coasters' already). i even tried to use my lite-on external but the same thing happened. suggestions? i have vista home premium.
    thanks

Any new software/freeware you added to the OS of Vista might need its compatibility changed to run with XP.

you should try to get your hands on a copy of cloneDVD 2 or Nero or Cyberlink products and they should do the job with no problems.

am not quite sure what you mean by compatibility with xp. i have the dvdfab vista version, if that is what you mean. Or is there something that i have to do, internally, to the new computer to make it accept fab or nero? don't mean to seem dense.

    thanks.
