How do i find out how much free space is left on my hard drive? I have used various kinds of burnings programs mainly dvd decrypter, nero, alcohol amonst many others! Dvd decrypter had no problem burning an option file of a ps2 game for me and my ps2 recognised it but i cant make back dvds of my games! I have upgraded the firmware of my HP DVD Writer 630c to the latest firmware but still i have no luck! Some programs dont even recognise aspi, scsi or ide bus drives or something like that! when i go into the settings of dvd decrypter these are my interface options:
    ASPI-WNASPI32.DLL
    ASPI-ASPI.DLL
    SPTI-Microsoft
    ElbyCDIO-Elabourate bytes
    Patin-Couffin-VSO Software

Open [bold]My Computer[/bold] which should show all your drives. Then right click the drive you want to check and then click properties. It should show how much is used and how much you have left.

My new hp media center came with the hp630b lightscribe burner,
and it worked fine for a couple of weeks but then quit seeing blanks or movies, and when it did copy was making crappy copies, so after
talking with a HP rep, he sent me a new burner free shipping both ways
and I just had to return the old one within 15 days or they would charge my card. You might call them and see if they will help you out,They
rushed these pc,s out and have discovered quit a few buggy parts,
but now I would say I am 100 percent satisified.

    Hi there,

Latest firmware for the HP 630C (Search HP site for 630I or 630e)

    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...product=432774&dlc=en&softwareitem=dv-29001-1

    Release Date: 2005-02-22 Version: ch16

    Description

The upgrade includes the following features:

Improves laser write strategies for new brands of DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW and DVD+R DL media.
Corrects a RecordNow error when copying mulisession double layer discs.
Corrects an issue with mounting a DLA disc.
Corrects a mis-compare failure during the data verification process.

    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/information_storage/software/dvd630c_ch16.exe

    That's a first, thank you HP :)
Forcing you to have a certain software installed just to upgrade firmware...

    That's weird !
