Is the hp dc7900 part of the ELITE line or is it in its own product line? ELITE 8000 runs win 7 with the cd set used to install it. The DC7900 runs either win 7 or xp as I remembe using the cd set to install either. The CD PLUS ate model specific where the OS choice is made provided the correct cd is at hand. Using the appropriate PLUS CD and the OEM OS of choice either CMT can run either OS. At least I think I am correct. Verify please. I would like to have an XP desktop. I have two ELITE 8000's both win 7. I tried to install XP, no luck. Please advise the best course to take. The two lines are only a year apart. They are good enough for me.
