HP Notebook display problem

    I have HP Pavilion ze2155EA notebook but having two Vertical lines on display. How can I remove / repair this problem?

    Most likely this is caused by a defect in the LCD panel, the LCD driver board, or the cable connecting the two.

    In any case, you will need to take it to a repair center unless you can procure the parts and install them yourself.

    a customer had same problem but with a samsung 19" lcd monitor. i emailed him a deadpixel program which he ran plus carefully rubbing the screen with a soft cloth. that worked as he emailed me stating it was gone & i did see the 2 lines when there the last time i worked on his system.

    Well, I probably also should have asked. . .

    How wide are the vertical lines?

    Do they appear to be 1 pixel in width?
