    Hi ive recently bought a htc touch from orange and they said it would be unlikley for it to scratch and
    inless than two weeks it got quite a few scrateches i thought of replacing the front casing but then that leaves the
    bit which is actualy scratched (the grey bit) so i was wondring where i could get the part from and how would i be able to install the part

    Hi.
    u should just put a screen protector on it. normally they'll provide it. but i suppose some dealers dont. i've been using my htc touch for more than a year, i change 2 screen protectors.
    and my set still looks new with no scraches at all.

    If it's only on the plastic housing and not on the screen, you'd better get over it. More scratches will come - effortlessly.

    When it's a metal part, you can try Brasso or other scratch removers. They do work for screens as well, but probably not for touch screens. You might check this out for the different scratch removal products in this article.
