Hi all, I am planning to build an HTPC in the near future and I am doing some research on the hardware components I will be using. I do not know whether these is anyone who can recommend whethere these components will be ideal for an HTPC that will be used also for gaming (even it is not a top priority). I am also planning to use this PC to use PVR and I expect good performance for this PC. Therefore I would like the ability to record and do other things without the PC slowing down. CPU : AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ Motherbaord : MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum nForce4 Ultra (Socket 939) PCI-Express Hard-Disk : Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 10 NCQ 300GB SATA-II 16MB cache Video Card : Sapphire ATI Radeon X1300 512MB DDR2 AVIVO TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) PSU : 600W - EzCool 12cm Fan ATX PSU 1GB DDR2 The only thing I do not know is about the tuner card. I would like a DVB-T tuner card. I am also planning to connect this PC with a plasma screen. I was thinking of buying an LG 42 inch with a resolution of 852 * 480. It is supposed to be HD ready.
