How do I setup the network so I can HTTP flash. I have tried to flash my chip with a cd. It hasnt worked yet. Also, I think I am using the wrong bios. I have a Xecuter 3 CE modchip. The page that is supposed to come up never does.

Well, most people use a router to flash via http.

Here is how you do it.

    You need 3 ethernet cords.

One to go from your PC port to your WAN port on your Router
One to go from a port on the router to your Modem
One to go from a port on the router to your Xbox

Walla, you now have a network running.

Get the newest X3 3108 bios, if you do not know how to find it go here, http://www.x-b-o-x.net/modules/news/ Since the bios is a 1MB bios, make sure that your X3 switch settings are switched to the 1MB setting, which is... On, On, Off, Off. Or you can switch it to Off, On, Off, Off.

Check out this site as it will help you out greatly if you have any questions, http://home.comcast.net/~x3guide/Old/index.html
