I got a SD-gecko from a friend for free, so i figured i´ll try to boot some homebrew from my cube. So I ordered a "Action Replay" from a local shop, got it in the mail today. It didn´t let me add any code, some frentic searching, with no reward other than some people mention that it doesn´t let you add code. I´ve got the version with the freeloader software included, So i guess i´m screwed, right? If so, Is anyone (who updated to SD media Launcher maybe) willing to sell me their copy of AR? (since I allready own the gecko i can´t bring myself to buy the media launcher.) Thanks!
I,ve got a version of Action Replay with Freeloader on it, and Gecko, and it works for me. Look on the bottom of the action replay disc, twords the center, that will tell you the version you have. I've got 1:14a then look here http://gcemu.dcemu.co.uk/tutorial-t...o-work-on-gamecube-without-modding-45125.html make sure you code is right. It's really long. But it is a one time thing. Best 0'luck
OK, So i´ve got version 1.0E, i guess that´s the "updated" crappy version, right? Just to double check, witch button do you press to get to add the code?
it comes with a memory card. I push the A button.... I'm not really too sure about your version though..... here a youtube video of it working. It's in German, but it's the same thing..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fkIMD1gEjYQ
Mine doesn´t look like that at all (way too tired to take screens) But first off, mine is PAL, and main menu is just one long list of games with "Freeloader" as the top option. I´m just going to face facts, it doesn´t work. I just hope maybe someone can learn from this. Don´t do stuff in a rush, It´ll just backfire up yer ass.
Wow, your intellect is like a lightning bolt! Even though that was pretty much the idea, that people would pay attention I´m in need of help you see.
