Ok so stupidly I forgot to turn of the automatic sync so when I connected up the pod it deleted the music library.

It deleted over 2500 tracks - any idea how to get them back for free? Data Doctor Recovery is $69, are there any other ways?

    Thanks for your help

How did you get the files on your computer/iPod before? Were were they located? Can you give us some more info?

    Hiya,

Stupidly they were deleted off my computer and not backed up - therefore the only copy of them was on the ipod which has now been deleted. Can I get them back from there?

Well if you just recently deleted them on the computer you may be able to recover them from the computers harddrive. You may also be able to recover the files right off the iPod. Go here, http://www.recovermyfiles.com/ipod-recovery.php , and check it out it looks very promising. Follow their directions and report back :)
