...except for a few posts here and there that I have a hard time understanding I have, thanks to the time and patience of all here, managed to get by I am trying to burn two files that I get a error that other "googled" people get but don't know what to do either. It tells me something about needing Dolby 2.0 etc.... I don't understand it cause I think I have the Klite Mega Can someone tell me what to do. it plays on the computer as is and then the burned video plays on the dvd, just the audio did not play
I MUST HAVE BEEN VERY FRUSTRATED WHEN ASKING FOR HELP, SO HERE IS MY PROBLEM 1. I couldn't burn 2 files downloaded. Got an error msg saying the error msg can be saved in a file. Let me know if you want to see that 2. I chose to ignore that route and go the Transcode thru DVD Flicks and then when I went back to burn on Nero I got a error saying something like I need a Dolby 2.0 or 2.1 Decoder or Decompressor. It made no sense but when I googled it, others have gotten that msg but no one had a solution. They burn fine but have no voice Thank so much
What part of Nero were you trying to burn with(Nero Recode/Vision/Burning Rom/Express)? The video that DVD Flick made, burn it with ImgBurn. It is free.
Startsmart/MakeYourOwnDVDVideo Both times. First when I tried and then it came back ASAP and said it could not burn and gave some long file. And then the second time I put the file, I guess u would call it the transcoded files (Video_TS), that I got from DVD Flicks in Startsmart/MakeYourOwnDVDVideo Oh thank you for answering so promply for the generosity of your time and patience I am hoping it is as easy as, "no no you need to go in thru here..." or download this update u must not have this LOL I will keep hoping Eric
yes, it might be as simple as that, you went the wrong way, as I suspected. When you select "Make your own DVD, you actually open Nero Vision. That would trancode the video again(it would do the exact same thing DVD Flick did already...well, almost same thing). No need for that. Use Nero Burning Rom or Nero Express to burn the Video_TS folder. Follow the guide here: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/burning_dvd_with_nero.cfm Since you don't have the Dolby plug-in, means you don't have a full Nero version? You might not have Nero Burning Rom. In this case, use Nero Express, or ImgBurn.
