i use dvd shrink to reduce the files, but my memeronex burner either won't acknowledge the dvd blanks which are maxell rw+ discs it shrinks down and ejects good empty blank discs asking for a new empty disc and it just says checking disc. i updated firmware done just about everything when i put a dvd movie just to see if the dvd burner will show it has a disc in the drive it just flashes non stop like its scanning or burning but shows no disc in the drive. a friend says it could mean the dvd burner is fried i hope not thought some of you may be able to advise you have been able to resolve certain issues in the past i hope u can now thanks
Hi CLurker Ever have a problem w/ these Maxell RW discs before? Have your tried any other media like -R or +R discs? You can also post the last log and we can take a peek. Look here for them: Nero 7 - program files>nero>nero 7>core>nerohistory Just be sure to edit out the serial # - usually begin w/ 1A, 1C or 5C. The logs are usually separated by something like this: ========****Nero Burning History****======== edit: spelling
