I bought a softmod xbox it has unleashx. I tried to ftp it but it seems that the person that had it used apple so it gives mea apple IP address but my computer is Windows how can I get me IP address or reset to work wit mine.
I don't know how unleash works, but try going to your system configuration or setting...so you can see something about IP ADDRESS. Once you find that, you will have to know what your ip is for your routers. Such as: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 Lets just say that it is the .1.1, you will edit your ip (there might be 2 ip's that show, you can only edit one) and type in: 192.168.1.110 (the 110 is just in case you have alot of computers or other things connected to your router). Then when you ftp into your xbox, use that ip w/ the 110 and user: xbox pw: xbox.
Hey ive got unleash X also, Try going to system, then misc, then to network reset. That should bring it back to the defaults, if not then go to system, settings, network, and work it from there. Unleash X for me a is a fickle ftp'er, the only time i can get my ftp agent (flashfxp) is when i open flash fxp then turn on my box and as long as i dont press anything on the box and i dont wait too long it lets me connect. Might i suggest using evox or avalaunch (unless you want to revert back to the ms dash for xbox live or something)

I dont know what your trying to do by getting all these people to IM you but its kind of annoying. Ive tried every dashboard available and I would say that for starters evox would be a good choice. The first thing, download evox, second you need to ftp to your xbox. In c: you place evox.ini , evoxdash.xbe, and your skins folder. Remove the your unleash files and your done. piece of cake.
that sounds easy but first where do I get such files do you have them? If so can you email them? Thanks so much for your help
