This is the Trouble I am having. I am trying to Burn a 694mb AVI Movie from my Hard Drive to a CD but Nero V6 says it's too Large for CD so I want to put it on a DVD. Nero's ExpressSE_ug_eng Manual says to use Express 6 & to Select DVD Video Files but that Icon does not appear on My Express 6. I Uninstalled then Reinstalled Nero's most recient Updates, Nero-6.6.1.4_no_yt, Nero contents, NeroMIX-1.4.0.35 & NVE-3.1.0.25_no_yt, but the Express 6 DVD Video Files Icon still does not appear on My Express 6. Also. I can’t Burn a DVD to play on my DVD Player using Nero Burning ROM V 6.6. I get as far as DVD-Video but there is no Box under the Character List called Joliet to Check, I do see Relax Joliet restrictions with a Box under that called Allow more than 64 characters for Joliet names but it’s Grayed Out. Is there something else that I need to install? I've been waiting 2 wks now for a response from Nero.
The AVI file will, after conversion become at least 4+gb and therefore NOT fit on a CD so you will have to use a DVD. If you do not have the full (purchased ) version of Nero then the Make DVD option is not available, what I would suggest is you d/l a free trial of ConvertXtoDVD which will convert and burn your AVI files, here a link http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd.cfm
