I have a Lite-On DVD-RW SOHW-1633s drive. Well I was having troubles burning different media when I purchased it so I stumbled upon a way to spoof the drive to a SOHW-1653S with a CSOT firmware as it was supposively suppose to make this drive more compatible when burning. But now the drive's led just keeps flashing and won't read any media. Is there a way to reverse the whole process back to a 1633S or am I screwed? Anyones opinion is welcome!!!Thanks!!!

Cross flashing firmware can be very hazardous to drives. This is all I know.

Download the original firmware, from the manufaturer's website, and flash the drive, with the firmware. Good luck.
