I can flash with Jtag but still not working 2 green lights HELP

    Ok i wrote out a whole 4 paragraphs before my daughter hit the power button on my pc , so ill cut this short .......
    I can jtag ,ie erase then write the TSOP2008 using skymax or jtag .
    but the box still displays 2 green lights in the centre of LCD ,
    i have looked at the capicitors and they look fine .
    St chip set Eurovox Max V -glasgow , will not flash firmware still the same problem 2 green lights even after jtag works

    HELP

    The cap doesnt have to show any visible signs of failure. Have you replaced the C14 cap with a 16V 1000uf?

    No have not , im pretty sound when it comes to technical things but soldering aint my kinda thing last time i done it was on my ps2 and i nearly burnt my fingure to the board :p .

    I reckon its the capacitor aswell ..
    any other problems that might occur

    Be aware i might put back on flebay .as spairs and repairs

    If you bought it off fleabay there could be a few issues, i.e. faulty PSU. But I would try the cap first, easy enough to do and only costs 50p at Maplins.

    Bought x10 16v 1000uF Radial Electrolytic Capacitors from flebay - £1.49 all in , so ive got some spare if anybody wants one . . .
