I CANT BURN CDS

    i cant get my cd/dvd burner to work it only reads dvd type disc but nothing from a cd-r i've enabled the iampi but it keeps disableing itself can anyone help me please

    what burner? (model number)
    what brand is the cdr?

    Try to install and use Alcohol 120% (for a test, the trialware version is enough).
    I had the same problem with my IBM T-42. Alcohol seems to work only because it uses the default Device Control Interface, and not Window's, but neither Nero or CDRWin worked. Only IBM RecordNow did, but it wasn't able to burn images.

    ok i tried that and the program finally reads that there is a blank cd in tha drive but i still dont know how to use tha program 2 burn music .............. o' yeah is there a way 2 fix tha problem using my regular nero or such thing
