Give me more informations. Which software did you use to make a copy? Did you make an image file or a single copy? Some softwares don't make an exact copy and also you have to force the software do ignore any kind of errors, because some games have bad sectors as a protection. Then the software thinks there is an error and it tries to correct it or skip it. It won't work like that. Give detailed informations about what exactly you did and I'll help you.
Just use PRASSI PRIMO DVD 2.0 or RECORDNOW to make a "GLOBAL IMAGE" then reburn the image back to dvdr or dvdrw should work np
I burn my DVD games with Nero 5.5.9.17 on the fly. No problems sofar. (15 DVD copies) I have a HP DVD+r/+rw 200i. The messiah rules ..

Don't have it yet, just started off with the whole dvd business, I have some nice rips though my current dvd's are - devil may cry - collin mcrae 3 - DTM - Silent Hill 2 - Metal Gear Solid 2 - FFX - Medal of honour frontline - (almost) Lord of the rings and Vice City I won't start mentioning rips, too much to mention... drop me a private if you want to .... well you know what I mean
Sorry DEFHEAD but dont have a site however you will find it on kazaa. And CTC gauranteed you will hit a disk that NERO WONT COPY but prassi will. just a heads up ps :I have copied every ps2 dvd game in sight and all working fine
hey I have an USB ModChip for PS2 will that play any burned DVD ROM based games? I have tried backing up one of my games to test if it really works. Plus I have just got my PIONEER DVD-RW Burner the other day. I am using the DVD-RW they gave me in the packet to back up Final Fantasy X. I tried it on my PS2 with the modchip/gameshark swap method but when it trys booting it sounds like it is alright then it just makes a weird noise and stops trying to boot. At first I thought that I was Burning it too fast so I Burned it at 1x and it still makes the same noise. I personly think it might be the media they gave me to use. I have heard that only sertain DVD-R/RW brands work on the PS2. I am also using RecordNow to burn my back ups. So could any one help me if the modchip I am using is correct. Thanks for the help
i dont think the ps2 will play backups on the DVD-RW format. im not sure as im new to this. BTW, i ordered a magic 3 from modchip.com, and i was curious if anyone with experience knows how long it usually takes them to ship the product in the u.s. i ordered mine a week ago. djNATO
First: Why do you use this (old) thread to ask a new question.... I think you had to make a new thread...but ok. I copied MGS2 on the fly with Nero 5.5.9.17 onto DVD+r. (with DVD burner) What did you allready try ?
