I downloaded a movie and its 706MB when I go to burn it and it says the CD holds 702MB. Is there a simple program that allow me to choose the AVI file and say I want it reduced in size down to 700 and have it be done without going through tons of steps?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Get AVI ReComp to compress the file to your liking. Get it here.

Pryme_H... Thank you so much. Such a simple program and EXACTLY what I have been trying to find. Select the file, choose where you want to save the new one, click start and just wait for it to complete. With the one click it took my 706 MB file and now its 699MB! Definitely burn-able now! Thank you sooo much!!

    zayababy,
You're very welcome. I'm glad it all worked out for you. Indeed, it's a very simple program. The GUI is pretty basic, yet dependable.

Now another issue. The program works good but after I ran it and played the movie...the sound is delayed a few seconds from the video. I deleted and tried again and made sure I didnt have any things running that could have caused the glitch but its the exact delay as the first one. Is there something I am doing wrong?

    Thanks!
