my dvd-rom drive it's gone...just dissapeared.i was using daemon tools before and i was familiar with virtual dvd devices..but i had this game that asked me to install alcohol 120% on my pc so i could play the game.i install the program..get bored of the game and uninstall the game and alcohol 120%.after rebooting my pc i noticed that my real dvd-rom drive was gone..can't find it anymore, so i install alcohol again and the dvd-rom drive is back..but now it's a virtual dvd-rom ...i can't burn cd's i can't copy i can't do anything..what went wrong?how can i get back my dvd-rom drive?
Are you saying that the actual dvd-rom is not appearing in My Computer? Does it show up in bios and does it appear in Device Manager?
