I can't get a picture on my computer.

Whether it's the original DVD or my copy all I get is some sound and no picture. It won't work with windows media or real player. Everything worked a couple of days ago, then it just stopped working. I have been using Taiyo Yuden 8x and it plays in my stand alones.

 

It sounds to me perhaps you require a Codec

 

Thank You! A codec is what I needed. Found a freeware for windows media classic, that solved the problem.
