i cant get cd-writer to play

    i instaled windows xp and now i cant get the cd writer to play or copy my music its like a dead unit ive tried uninstalling it and reinstaling it and nothing plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz heeeeeelllllllpppppppp in need music lol

    Did you install updated drivers for the unit since it will need different drivers for Windows Xp than it would've needed for your previous version of windows

    dont know were to get the downloadable drivers now i cant get the cd writer to come up after i iinstaled it

    Go to the home page of your CD Writer and search for drivers. Locate the driver that is for your model. install and restart!
