i can't open regedt32

    my DVD-ROM drive won't open, just like someone mentioned in another thread. The solution was to open regedt32 and delete the upper and lower filters. however i can't open regedt32.exe on my computer. i doubled clicked it, and it pops up, but dissaperes after 1 second. can someone please help me?

    Go into safemode and then you'll be able to go into the registry editor.
