i can't playback the stuff i recorded!!

    i have panasonic miniDV pv-dv103d

    when i want to playback the stuff i recorded i get a blank screen (like everything is erased).BUT sometimes i can see it(if i play around with it like fast forward then rewind). i know everything is still on the tape because the tape tab is not on record its on save. BUt i just can't seem to get to it. can someone help me?? thank you.

    I have the same exact problem with my Canon ZR300. Do you know if when you record the video actually makes it to the tape? or can't it record either?
