I need help because i cant put music on my ipod video because everytime i connect it to my computer my itunes loads and it says updating ipod "do not disconnect" and after it will say "ok to disconnect" and and it wont let me drag my music in to it and i keep seeing this lock symbol at the bottom
If you want to use the drag and drop method, then you have to set your iPod to "Manually Update All Songs & Playlists". To do this, simply right click on your iPod in the source menu when it is plugged in, go to 'iPod Options...' then set it to "Manually Update All Songs & Playlists".
did it solve your problem? becasue with your current setting you should be able to just manually copy the library to the iPod becasue it isnt putting them on there becasue it want you to.
