I can't Rip Semi-Pro

    i am having trouble ripping semi-pro
    ive tryed everything
    any advice

    What's everything?

    Are you using the latest versions for everything you've tried?

    What's the error message?

    ive used the newest dvd fab premium, dvd shrink, and just a plain dvd decrypter, nothing seems to work, everything is updated

    the error message is cyclic redundancy, and the disc is free of any scratches or marks

    Even though the disc may look perfect it could still have an imperfection that the drive see when trying to rip.
    So I'm thinking that is your problem.

    If you have another drive - try that one. Some are better then others at ripping a bad spot.

    If not exchange for a new one.

    cell drive

    1) there is no dvd fab premium, so what did u use ?

    2) Have u tried Anydvd and dvd shrink together ?

    @Cell drive - try ripping main movie only and see if that helps

    I am also having problems backing up semi pro I have used DVD FAB 5 , anydvd with clone dvd 2 shrink and decypter with ripitforme and I am not making any head way. I tried only backing up the main movie and I keep getting an error like the other guy when it goes to burn. Please help!

    mine gets to 98% and says it cant read the rest. And i have DVDFab 5.0.2.8

    Try cleaning the disc and retry

    If nogo, xchange disc and retry

    Cardinal 7th, it did'nt look that interesting, so I did'nt pick it up. Now if you got it and said it was a keeper, then I gotta get it.

    DVDFab 5.0.2.8 Beta should rip successfully.
    I actually got an error at 98% as well with my first drive.
    Switched to another (newer) drive, and it processed successfully though. I also noticed that it started to lag and seemed to have a little trouble at about this same 98% point.
    Hope this info helps.

    This is the first movie I could not rip. The rip I have is incomplete by about 6 minutes.
