Ok tell me what are you trying to do, and how you doing it, what ipod you have and what version of Itunes, all these will help, in trying to resolve the issue. :)

I have a 2GB nano...i don't know what generation or anything. i'm not sure what version of itunes i have...the latest one i think. i just downloaded the most recent version. what i'm trying to do i take songs that i already have on my computer in mp3 form and put them into my itunes library so that i can then put them on my ipod. i have limewire and everytime i try to import songs from it into itunes it gives me an error message. i had this problem before and somehow fixed it...i just can't remember how i did it!!

best thing to do is not importing is adding, first open itunes, then click Edit then prefrences, when the window opens, click the advance tab, make sure add files to my itunes library when adding songs to itunes is selected, then click ok, then click on file, if you want to add a bunch of songs at once, click add folder to itunes, this will add all the files at once, if you already have some files and you dont want to have double copys, dont worry itunes 7.5 had a feature that let you see all your duplicate files so you can delete the extra ones. Good Luck.
