I selected the DTS track as well as AC3 5.1 when I re-author, I'm burning DVDs splitting across two dvd-r discs. However, my receiver only plays the discs in dolby digital.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks...RN

I use DVD Shrink to re-author. The receiver is setup correctly as the default setting picks up the DTS track of the DVD.

When I re-authored, I selected the DTS audio setting manually as it was unchecked.

Did you verify your receiver set up by testing the original disk and selecting the DTS track?

Yes, I tested the original disk and it plays DTS track as the default.

Let me describe the steps I took in re-authoring.

I select Re-Author, select the Title 1 and set start and end frames, in the Compression settings tab \ Audio section, I notice that the DTS 5.1 track is not selected, So I check it and start the backup.

    Anything wrong with this process?

nope, sounds like the same way id do it, which is why it seems strange its not working. Try running off another copy with just the dts selected, not the ac3 as well
