I heard that there was an upgrade available for my burner, a SOHW-1693S. I have KS0A but I want to get KS0B in hopes of being able to reduce my burn speed from 6x to 2x. When I click on the link the page reloads.

I have the same burner as well and have the same problem when I try to download firmware from the liteon site using firefox. Choices are: Use an IE based browser like Opera, Avant, or IE itself OR Get updates from here: http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php

Thx larrylje it worked. I just dl'ed it. YOu too zippyd and creaky, larrylje just got teh simplest method.
Sorry, I was thinking long term..... for when the next one comes out you won't have to find someone who has it on their personal website.
