I couldn't find help about this anywhere else. please, somebody help. I installed adobe premiere and thenremoved it because
its so fusking heavy and hard to use. however, i cannot view some mpegs anymore.
the play time appears to be less than a minute on long ones and indeed ms mwdiaplayer
would play only the first bit of them. i tried to install mediaplayer 7 and
it didn't work. i reinstalled most of the codecs i had and it didn't help.

any idea? thanx guy. in case my email is acherry@libero.it

Well if they are mpeg-2, installing a software dvd player would help!

well maybe when u installed something it installed its own codec and it is conflicting with another codec!

I tried everything. I installed MP9 and didn't help. I can watch some mpgs now with elecard player. but I still have problems. I don't know enough to be able to fusk with codecs. adobe is the worst, most invasive, software I have ever tried.
    thanks, anyway. k

well i reckon it must be caused by a codec anyway, i mean there is not much else!!

I've read that WMP9 is fairly intrusive too...
