I have tried every possible option, every possible suggestion humanly possible!! I have a version 1 xbox with x2.2 lite +,x2 4978.03 bios, a version of evox 3285 that I burned successfully. It boots up everything seems to work and I can ftp into xbox, after putting game in it says game I go to launch dvd and I get green evox screen that just sits there!! I have turned all in game resets off. I am willing to bet even with all the knowledge in here, NO ONE in this forum can solve this!! Why? because I have tried every possible option out there and this xbox wont play games through evox! I have even tried flashing bank 2 instead of bank one with an M7 bios and it doesnt work either! Does anything you guys make work??
if nothing works have you tried restarting all from the beginning? reflashing ur bios all with the same bios? reinstalling evox? did you try X2_4977 ? I heard new bioses are a little buggy at this time
I have read everything there already, nothing works same message no matter what- xbox cant recognize disk
The reason it does that is because you don't have the correct command in the evox.ini file. Meaning that you changed the evoxdash without replacing the evox.ini with the correct and corresponding evox.ini for that version. with the newer dashboards actions look different aka instead of @14 it is ID_Launch_DVD so if you're using an older version of evox: Item "Launch DVD",@14 instead of: Item "Launch DVD",ID_Launch_DVD *The @# commands still work with newer versions of evox dashboard If this is correct, there is only one other option. The path set in the evox.ini does not actually lead to a correct file name. ie the DVDPLAYER = path is "f:\apps\dvdx2\default.xbe" When really the path is "f:\apps\dvdx\default.xbe" your bios should not have anything to do with your problem. the easiest solution would be to replace your evox, or rename your DVDPLAYER path In addition, don't be so arogant -- you really haven't tried everything otherwise you wouldn't have this problem when no one else does.
I have a thomson drive and I'm in the usa. Hey sitchenko-I did everything you said and it says xbox can't recognize disk. If my bios has nothing to do with it then why do I get this message when I switch to bank 2 with cromwell and try to flash it and it says cant recognize disk. No matter what version bios, evox, iso maker, cd-rw's or dvd's I use- it says the same thing.I did exactly what you suggested and it still does'nt work. So I have tried everything possible and as I predicted no one in here can solve this.
