?? I dont even know what to ask ??

    I want to burn some DVD's but Im so lost I dont even know what to ask. I've read some guides and there are a lot of terms I'm not farmiliar with.
    Here are some questions that may make my life easier...

    1. When using Nero to make a DVD that I would like to watch on my DVD player, do I chose Make Bootable DVD, Burn DVD Video-Files or Data DVD???

    2. I'm downloading 40 year old virgin... Its 4.45GB and it seems to contain a lot of rar files... what do I do with this?? This file is a "DVD replica", will it contain the menu and all that stuff?

    3. Can I make a DVD that will play on my DVD player with an avi file?

    Answer to your first question: Select Burn DVD Video file. Drag files into Nero prog and then burn. Nero can handle AVI files without first converting, again just drag files into window and burn..using good media..Not Memorex

    If your backing up a commercial dvd (ie. store bought) ... use Nero's Recode 2.

    You need to unrar (unpack/extract) them with WinRAR

    The "replica" one should contain working menus

    Yes ... I use VSO's DivxToDVD to covert avi files into a dvd compatible format ... then I burn it with CopyToDVD.
