i got a windos xp laptop and i wanted to upgrade my firmware but i dont know what brand or type i got... now i looked everywhere in the forums to find out how to do it but all i find is psp and xbox. can anyone help?
What firmware? There's no such thing as firmware for laptops. It only exists for portable devices such as PSPs, Xboxes, MP3 players and so on. it's the same as an operating system but for a portable device. The 'firmware' for your laptop is Windows XP, the OS. You can upgrade the firmware on individual devices such as the hard disk, but there's no advantage to doing so unless you have a problem.
