How to burn DVD folders with ImgBurn

I followed the above guide step by step. I have the Video_TS folder with all of the BUP and IFO files and I created the Audio_TS folder. The VIDEO_TS folder is 4 GB not due to length (1:45) yet due to quality. Obviously, it is a huge file yet IMGBURN had it burned to a disc in a little over FIVE MINUTES. Crazy. It said operation successfully completed. The oddest thing is that it will play on my desktop (the PC I used to burn it) and it plays perfectly (has the start menu, scene selection, etc. and the audio is fantastic) yet it will not play on my laptop or on my DVD player and my DVD player has played every type of burned CD imaginable. Any thoughts or ideas? It would be MUCH appreciatied. Thanks guys.

The obvious question is, do you have the mpeg decoder installed ?
Mpeg-2 decoders are not standard on Windows except for
Vista home premium and vista ultimate.
    (Not sure about Windows 7)

@ OP, install VLC on lappy and see if it plays it..
For DVD player, perhaps it's a media/player issue..Which media are you using, have you used it before, and if so, have you ever had problems with it before this?..

davexnet-i have windows vista home premium, so i do not think the mpeg decoder is the problem.

k00Ka-i have vlc on my laptop yet it still does not work. my dvd player has played every burned DVD imaginable. however, this is the first time i have ever burned a Video TS folder. the Video TS folder was already made by someone else and as i said it plays perfectly on my desktop, it has the start menu, chapter selection, etc. k00Ka-i apologize yet I am not quite clear on what you mean by "which media are you using". i can usually figure all this stuff out, yet i've never dealt with VIDEO TS folders before and I am stumped. any further help is much appreciated, as is the help you already provided

thank you both for your replies. i still do not understand how imgburn burned over 4GB in a little over five minutes when it takes Xilisoft 2 hours to burn 1 GB.

Hey sigurros8, no apologies are necessary...Sorry my bad, the 'media' are the discs you are burning with(e.g. Verbatim, Sony, Taiyo Yuden etc..
I don't use Xilisoft SW, but perhaps it's doing some transcoding and burning, hence the time difference..I have Vista lappy that pretty much plays everything and so far all of my burned discs..However I only use Verbatim and TY media, and sometimes Sony's..However the media compatibility is more of an issue with standalone players AFAIC..
Does the VIDEO_TS folder contain all of the BUPs, IFO,s and VOBs?..
