Thank you for contacting Microsoft online support for XBOX. My name is Joyce and I will be helping you today with this issue.

I apologize for the inconvenience. As I understand that your Xbox console has been banned for violations of the Terms of Use agreement.".

To protect the Xbox LIVE service and Xbox LIVE members, we do not provide details about a specific console banning. Microsoft will not ban a console without overwhelming evidence that the console was used to violate the Code of Conduct or the Terms of Use. There is no appeal for a console ban."

One or more of the following offenses, why other gamertags or account was banned on Xbox Live:

    . Console modification
    . Piracy
    . Theft
    . Fraud
    . Phishing
    . Nudity
    . Sexually explicit material
    . Account selling
    . Account tampering

    Xbox LIVE account bans
To determine whether a customer's Xbox LIVE account has been permanently banned from Xbox LIVE, see the following article:

Note: Actions that Xbox Live takes for complaints are based on the frequency and severity of complaints that are logged against a player. If another player continues to bother you while you are playing online, you can use the mute feature to prevent that player from talking to you or you can create a private game session and invite only the gamers you want to play with.

Did you do what the email advised? If you post on the relevant section of the Xbox forums, a mod will get the security team to have another look at your details. When they do, they also warn you that if you're lying (it's not like someone that's banned would lie to get unbanned of course!!!!) then you risk having your gamertag banned as well. If you've genuinely done nothing wrong and have been banned, then go and do that. Posting here isn't going to get you unbanned.
