i got error 16 and the dasboard will not load on my modded xbox can you help ?

i have a chiped xbox. sometime ago the xbox decided to stop working. when i turn it on the buton flashes green and red.i am able to load back up games and also normal games but the dasboard will not loa at all, it comes up with the error 16 crap! i have looked around but i cant find anything can anybody help?? please

 

your mod chip wire broke loose or your mod chip is fried

i noticed to wire were split but i put them back together and the chip now lights up. some people have been telling me that u need to load up an aouto installer again is that not right then ?

 

error 16 is the internal clock is not set and it can't find the right dash to set the clock.. but having a mod chip it should set the clock for you.. but like johnodd said your chip is probably fried.. if u have xcecuter c3e try the 128k backup and try reflashing ur chip.. thats what my friend did

 

This has happened to me, I also have a modchip and also had the same exact error and my xbox could play games. Do NOT disconnect the xbox from the power and all you have to do is find an autoinstaller. The one I used is called Xbox Ultimate Boot disc, but there are better ones. You can try slayers auto installer too.

 

i have a different problem my xbox is modded but now it wont go to the dash it just says xbox live is not responding
