i got new drive (unhackable)

    Today I got one new drive. It is not possible to hack. Please tell me how to hack this drive.
    I can hack Lite on drive before august manufacturing.
    But I can’t hack after august manufacturing.

    xbox 360 Arcade
    Drive Details is :
    Model No DG-16D2S-09C
    Manufactured/ August, 2009(is not hackeble)
    HW Ver A0A2
    FW Ver 83850C


    Please replay me as soon as possible...

    Actually, there is a second version of the 83850C that is not giving out the DVDkey. Microsoft has done something in response to the the 83850C hack. I'm sure the drive is flashable, you just can't dump the DVDkey at the moment.

    karun_333: You are going to have to wait. A drive has been sent to the firmware team and they will decap and dump the Lite-ON to figure out what Microsoft has done.

    I was unfortunate enough to get a Lite-on 83850c Aug 2009 drive in the new Elite pack (2 game bundle), I'm in Canada...

    tried all night flashing with iPrep 10.7. it found the drive fine, but kept returning a "drive data invalid!" message...

    I risked it this morning and told the store "oh, it freezes a lot" and managed to swap for another Elite, also Aug. manufacture date though

    don't know if i should open 'er up to try again, or wait and see if this prob will / can be addressed. i can't afford to buy another one, is it likely they will find a workaround to dump the key?

    Hey guys,

    Bought an elite yesterday...got the same drive....it is just a pain in the nads....any1 heard anything on it?

    It will eventually come in time. It may be months before the market is flooded with them.

    True True,I hear of them popping up but the most recent updates about them seem to be 2 months old so they must be only startin to get going now...

    yeah, they will be flooded soon. Hopefully not too soon. Seems 1.61 firmware is getting close too. Not sure what the firmware team's primary focus is right now.

    Ya seein that the new wave 4 games wont play on 1.6....I just hope the drive is sorted soon aswell ....
