no picture on the lcd..i can hear the fan power on but still nothing.i think the poer conector is lose, have to hol it and press the power on button to get power. and the charger is in good working order.i think it's a celron over 1.2ghz it has 512mbs of ddr ram.when i hook it up to a monitor i get no picture on the monitor at all, i know the monitor is good cause i have my desktop pc hooked up to it and i get a very great picture and video on it. so does any one know whats up with my laptop?? any how i bought it last yaer from wallmart.
is this the first time you have used this laptop, or has it worked fine in the past and you all of a sudden have this issue? Sounds like its not even booting...is it still under warranty?
it was gave to me by my dad, it was working good but the where you plugin the laptop charger, it got lose, have to hold left or right and push power on, after the battery died. it jut will not show any thing on screen.even when hooked up to my desktop pcs monitor.i can hear the cpu fan running and the dvd-cobo drive works, and i can hear the hd power up and working. i am thinking this might be amemory or dead bios battery???? what else chould it be???
Sounds very similar to the problem I have sometimes with my laptop. I have and ECS G732, and once in a while, the fan comes on and sounds like everything is going to start up, but nothing on the display. I have found the following to work: 1) disconnect the power cord 2) remove the battery 3) let it sit for about 20sec 4) insert the battery and boot up with the battery 5) once the Post has completed, plug the power cord back in Hope this helps
