I have 2 hard drives- how do I know which drive the os. is being installed

    I have 2 hard drives, C and F. C is ok. What I need is to install operating system on F. I can access the cd rom, but how do I know which drive it will install on. I need it to go on F.

    First thing we need to know is what operating systems are you talking about? What do you have on your C drive and what is it you want to install on the F?

    You won't be able to install windows on to another drive if its already installed i think? if you want to have it on both, unplug your C drive install and then plug it back in, i think that works no promises
