I have two files, one AVI file and one .sub file, they are both in the same directory on my D:hdd and are both labled the same.

I have installed VobSub2.23 and VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.2 All Inclusive, also vsfilter 2.37 and have copied it and renamed the extension vfd but the sub just won't load up.

Whether I use VirtualDubMod or SubResync I only get the white box and nothing else when I try to add the .sub file.

I hope you can help, I've spent 2 days trying to sort this out but to no avail.

    Thanks.

So this is a sub as in MicroDVD textsub or half of a vobsub sub/idx?

Yes I only have two files that downloaded in the folder that's on my second hard drive (D:drive). Sample.avi and Sample.sub

    Thanks for helping.

In VobSup you want to use options "load always".

Then it might be a good idea to save your subs to SubRip format (.srt)

If you use FFDShow you need to enable subtitles (in options)...
