i have a budget of $600

    is it possible to build a gamer with $600?
    if so can you lay out a list of parts for me?
    and how long would it last before i would need an upgrade?

    check out http://www.maximumpc.com/article/features/budget_pc
    they built it for 800 so take away the 100 dollars for os and find a free case 55 dollars get your self a 20 dollar hard drive or better yet use a old one you have yourself a good machine for 600 bucks though this is from October it applies still and the prices probably fell enough that the whole thing is 600 or less. check pc magazine for other builds tom hardware has good ones etc...
