Ok… I want to add more memory to my computer it has one 256 mb pc100 centon stick and I want to put a second one (it is an old comp and the max for it its 512 mb) I bought another one the same brand (centon) 256 mb pc100 and it only turns on to the window where you an choose safe networking or normal mode it does not matter which one I select it just turns off and on to the same window so I tried w/ two pny w/ the same result if I try one @ a time on any slot it will turn on all the way but not w/ the two sticks… any ideas?… thx…
bios problem as ram works individually in both slots 1 at a time. check computer or motherboard manufacturer for bios update.
