I have a gamecube a crossover cable and a broadband adaptor and found this method on the net.

    [ DOL – Phoenix ]

    REQUIRED

    Memory Card in Slot 1
    Phoenix (CBS-P245.RAR above)
    riptool.dol and/or viperripmulti.dol

    [ Phoenix – Located ]
    [ RIPTOOL.DOL – Located ]
[ viper ripper multi VERSION – Located ]

1: Make sure your PC IP is 192.168.1.100 subnet 255.255.255.0

2: Load/Stream riptool.dol or viperripmulti.dol. When the red screen appears on your TV, quickly start your ripping tool on the PC (use phoenix 2.50 below, which when started also starts a dos box with psul, CLOSE THE DOS BOX.)

3: Click Begin on the phoenix rip screen.

4: Swap discs on the GameCube when prompted. An hour or so later your game is ripped

Only problem is that my gamecube won't connect to the pc when i go to test the connection it comes up with an error message.I switch off all internet security and firewalls but still nothing. The pc recognized the crossover cable. Can any1 tell me where i am going wrong.

?no idea... Never heard of that method. But I always heard that anything other than the PSO method or the Viper won't work.
