Yesterday As normal I did a reboot of the computer. You know to clean up all the stuff XP does. This time however It came up with an error and ran the chkdsk program automatically. The event log said my indexes were messed up. It seems to have fixed it self and has not done it again. I ran all my antivirus and malware programs and a HJT. I also ran a disk check looking for bad sectors. All came up with no problems. I can read my own HJT log like a book and is clean. The system is not showing any problems at all. The only thing that it got yesterday was a couple of security auto dat updates. My question is there a new virus out there that could have done this or is it just one of those microsoft things that happens from time to time. I would thank you for any comments or ideas on this. Bk
