i have a wireless connection and want the ehthernet out of the laptop to work

    i want the ethernet out of my laptop to work soi can hook up xbl but when i put all the cables right it doesnt work does any one know how to make it work?

    Not quite following what you are trying to do. Please give us more details on your setup and we'll go from there.

    i have a wireless connection for my laptop. but when i connect the laptop's ethernet to the xbox it doesnt work, live doesnt work. i use a router n stuff so i dk y it doesnt work.

    Are you trying to pass the internet connection from the wireless connection to the wired connection? Why not just run a line to the Xbox?

    If you must, you can try to bridge the connections (wired/wireless) and set it up that way.

    so al i really have to do is bridge my wireless connection w/ my local network?

    whenever i make a bridged connection between the local are network and the wireless the wirelless disconnects and it wont let me reconnect

    sorry...wasn't thinking. You can use the bridge to make your laptop a wireless access point, not the other way around. Linksys makes a wireless 'game adapter' specifically for what you are trying to do.

    To the extent of my knowledge, no it will not. Maybe someone will chime in with a solution though. I'll take another look to see if I can find anyting.

    is there a way to do this w/oput buying anything cuz i dont feel like spending mroe money to play xbl when 360 has wireless in it
