I have a wmv file not sure if I have to convert it to make the file smaller

    I am trying to send a 168mb wmv file to someone via email but the file is to big so I am wondering what file format is smaller the wmv like can I convert this file into a different format to make it smaller or is there a way to shrink ( compress it) if so where can I find the guide to do this

    If it is WMV, it is already low quality, and it is doubtful that you could make it small enough to send via e-mail. It would really look like junk.

    You could burn it to a CD, and send it via snail mail. Or, you could try to put it up on You Tube, and make it private viewing.
