Someone please help me! I have deleted the xboxdash.xbe file located at C:/xboxdash.xbe. Now when I start my Xbox, it says "Your Xbox Needs Customer Support". I have ran Linux, and FTPed with my Xbox to put xboxdash.xbe back in C:/, but when I tried to start up my Xbox again, I got stuck in the "Xbox Microsoft" screen when the Xbox starts up. What do I do?!
How is it modded? Softmodded I assume. Why the hell did you delete your dash?!! Did you just delete that xbe or did you delete the font .xtf;s and the xip folder too? If you have 1.0-1.5, Replace your entire C with 4920 dash If 1.6 replace with 5960 dash, this is all assuming you still have FTP access. Looks like you won't be modding Halo 2 for a while, and for that I am glad.
Yes, my Xbox is soft modded. I did not know what the file was, so I deleted it. I only deleted the xbe not anything else. How do I Replace your entire C with 4920 dash or 5960 dash?
Nevermind. I fixed it! YAY! All I did is re-installed the Soft Mod, and it put the xboxdash.xbe file back.
