Hello first timer here, so sorry if its in the wrong place.

I have just purchased a Eurovox 5000 and have followed the guide to flash it. I have got lots of channels but not one sky channel is listed. Can anyone tell me what to do I am a complete newbie and would need an idiots guide. I am on N*L and in Teesside area.

Thank you. I followed the guide to the letter, but still have no sky channels listed. They are just not in the list at all.

Have you got all of the other channels and have you checked all the unnamed channels?

I have got tons of other channels but no sky ones. I am in the process of following the installation guide again. This will be the third time I have re done it.

Make sure you do a factory reset first and you are scanning from the direct feed, i.e. no splitter. There have been some recent TP changes but not sure if they are also associated with your area.

Are you scanning from the direct feed? Unnamed channels means ones named something like CH***, (or similar where *** indicates a number).

BICS are recent placeholders or duplicates you can have a look through them.

CDF = Channel Definition File. It will include all frequencies and channels for a particular area/provider. You need to do a factory reset and load the CDF to your box.

There is a guide here its for the Max V but you do the same with the firmware file of the box you have.

As said if you need the CDF for your area, (N** Teeside), I will post it for you.
