First, I have never done anything like this before and am wanting to send these pics off to a friend either on a cd or dvd? I don't know what is the best for viewing on a dvd multi media player. All I was told that if they were jpg, everything would be OK? I have Nero 6.6.0.18 and don't know what program to use? I have about 50 pics in each folder and simply wanto to send these off to family members and want to know the fastest way to do this. I had to scan the 35 mm pics and store them in the external HD in order to prepare them for burning. I am not sure if I store them on a dvd or onto a cd? All experienced comments would be appreciated. I don't know what part of Nero that I would use, or is there a tutorial. I look forward to experienced comments, thank you. OS is xpsp2.
Open up Nero Burning Rom. Go to Data CD or DVD depending how big your total files are. Drag and drop your jpgs and burn
Hi again, I am really a noob to Nero Burning Rom. All I have ever done is copied an identical dvd or cd. I opened up the Burning ROM and it said 'new compilation' and selection of cd/video. And all of the icons on the top etc. I am not good at drag and dropping, however did so and it did not work so obviously I don't know what I am doing. I apologize for my lack of understanding, however I have never used the app and get overwhelmed with icons and trying to understand what I am doing when I get the folder of pics from the ext storage drive. Is this the easiest way to do this? Thank you again for your time.
Thx for the reply. Is there an ability to do Text Intro and captions? Also is there an ability to Sync sound to the pics and also is there "fade in and out capabilities". Or better still a Tutorial for a Noob like me to Nero Burning ROM for the purpose of a Slide Show...as I have never used Nero Burning ROM at all and don't understand the pros and cons. XPsp2 and vers. 6.6.0.18. At the last query which was sometime ago that was the then most stable version and I have been using it ever since. Likely b/c I don't do a lot of it, I don't research the versions that much. Again all experienced replies welcomed, thank you.
